One pulse ring representing a focused support request

Public support address

To contact TapTempo.one, email support@taptempo.one. TapTempo.one reviews product defects, factual corrections, privacy requests, accessibility barriers, responsible security reports, and rights concerns. This is not live chat, emergency support, a music-identification service, or a promised response-time channel.

Use a subject such as “Tap event,” “Accessibility,” “Privacy,” “Security,” or “Rights.” Keep one issue per message.

Reproduce a tap issue safely

State route, browser, operating system, input method, number of deliberate activations, expected state, and observed state. Use synthetic timing rather than sending audio.

Example: “On /tools/tap-tempo, focused Space presses at roughly 500-ms gaps; fourth press remained labeled Temporary instead of Recent median; browser version X; reduced motion enabled.” Include whether focus remained on the disc and whether a three-second pause occurred.

Do not attach recordings or media URLs. The product cannot process them, and simple event steps are more useful.

Arithmetic corrections

Quote displayed values and show the expected substitution. If gaps are 500, 510, and 490 ms, expected rates are 120, about 117.65, and about 122.45, with median 120. Name rounding assumptions.

A difference caused by pulse choice is not necessarily a defect. The tool reports what the presses describe.

Accessibility reports

Describe the task, assistive technology or input, viewport, zoom, reduced-motion setting, expected behavior, and barrier. Useful reports cover invisible focus, unwanted scrolling on Space, duplicate touch activation, silent status, low contrast, inaccessible Reset, or an oversized surface that blocks zoomed content.

Report observed behavior, not an assumed cause. Never send health information to justify an access need.

Privacy requests

Tap timestamps remain in browser memory and cannot be retrieved by support. Requests may concern email correspondence or ordinary hosting records. State the involved email address, approximate date, subject, jurisdiction, and action requested.

Do not send identification unless the operator establishes a proportionate lawful need and secure route.

Security and rights

Security mail should contain the minimum reproduction, affected route, impact, and safe proof. Do not access other people’s systems, disrupt service, or publish exploit details before reasonable coordination. The address is not a bug-bounty promise.

Rights notices should identify exact URL and material, relationship to the right, requested remedy, and response route. Broad unspecific accusations cannot be evaluated efficiently.

What not to send

Do not send passwords, tokens, payment data, audio files, device logs containing unrelated information, unpublished projects, medical information, or personal movement records. Use generic tap counts and synthetic gaps.

TapTempo.one has no upload, account, ticket dashboard, or saved project. Keep your sent copy.

Response expectations

Messages are prioritized by type, clarity, risk, and available resources. Duplicate mail can slow review. No response means no license, endorsement, or confirmation. Urgent safety matters belong with appropriate local services, not a tempo website.

Browser details that matter

A useful browser report names the full version rather than only “Chrome,” “Firefox,” or “Safari.” Include whether the page was installed, translated, zoomed, embedded, or opened in a private window. Mention extensions only when you have evidence that disabling one changes the behavior. If possible, repeat the same synthetic sequence in a clean profile and state whether the issue follows it.

For touch behavior, identify the operating system and whether a stylus, finger, trackpad, or mouse initiated the event. For keyboard behavior, say which element had visible focus and whether the key was held down. Those distinctions help reproduce event duplication and scrolling without requiring a device identifier.

Separate content from product defects

A product defect describes the interactive state: a press was ignored, duplicated, announced incorrectly, or retained after Reset. A content correction identifies an inaccurate sentence, ambiguous example, broken link, misleading title, or missing qualification. Labeling the category lets the operator send the issue to the right review.

For a correction, quote the shortest relevant sentence, provide the exact route, explain the factual problem, and cite a primary source when one exists. Do not paste an entire copyrighted article. A disagreement about preferred terminology can still be useful, but it should be presented as a convention question instead of a confirmed error.

A complete sample report

Subject: “Tap event — duplicate touch.” Route: /tools/tap-tempo. Environment: current mobile browser on a touchscreen, 200% text size, reduced motion on. Steps: Reset, touch the center once, lift the finger, and observe tap count two. Expected: count one and “Pulse started.” Observed: count two and a temporary value. Repeated three times in a clean private window. No recording or personal data attached.

That report is valuable because every detail connects to an observable transition. It does not speculate about source code, demand a deadline, or disclose unrelated browsing information.

Follow-up and closure

If support asks a question, reply in the same thread and preserve the original subject. Say when a browser update, cleared cache, or changed setting resolves the issue. For privacy or rights correspondence, explain whether the requested outcome fully addresses the concern. The operator may close duplicates, spam, unsupported song-analysis requests, or reports with no reproducible detail, while retaining enough correspondence to document the decision under the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

Can support tell me a track’s BPM?

No. The team does not receive or analyze audio.

Can a lost value be restored?

No. There is no persistent history.

Is a screenshot useful?

It can show layout if cropped and non-sensitive; typed steps remain essential.

Use the public address with a precise subject and complete lawful details.
